The APA Awards for Distinguished Scientific Early Career Contributions to Psychology recognize psychologists who have demonstrated excellence early in their careers and have held a doctoral degree for no more than 9 years. One of the 2018 award winners is Fiery A. Cushman, “for his groundbreaking research in moral psychology, integrating ideas from cognitive, social, and developmental psychology; moral and legal philosophy; evolutionary biology; cognitive neuroscience; and artificial intelligence.
